On Sept 26, 2013 scores of people from around the world are expected to attend the protest and march on Benton Harbor, Michigan city hall, 200 Wall St., 10am.
We will protest the outsourcing and privatization of the Cemetery, the Water Department, and the Public Works Department.
We will be protesting the actions of Emergency Manager Tony Saunders and requesting his removal.
We would like to see leaders who want to assist our residents and lift up the city of Benton Harbor out of severe and debilitating poverty. Certainly the move to outsource more jobs is going in the opposite direction. How long can those in power be permitted to destroy the human beings and the land in Benton Harbor?
