Suning to Become Largest Distributor for Whirlpool

One of the world's largest home appliance makers Whirlpool Corporation is deepening its cooperation with one of the top Chinese home appliance retailers Suning Appliance Co., Ltd.
Lately, Whirlpool held a meeting of its directors in China to discuss its strategy for the Chinese market. Its board met with Suning Board Chairman Zhang Jindong and other top executives. Both parties plan yearly sales value of CNY 10 billion within five years. Thus, Suning will become the largest distributor for Whirlpool
around the world.
They will jointly search for new cooperation forms so that more products made by Whirlpool could be sold at the first time in retail outlets under the aegis of Suning. Besides, special teams from the two sides will be responsible for the constitution and implementation of specific plans.
