The nationwide reputation of insulated Berrien County, Michgan

Berrien County's treatment of Rev. Edward Pinkney is part of why it continues to gain the nationwide reputation of one of America's most racist and backwards regions. Congressman Fred Upton and Whirlpool Corp. serve as the major players in the corrupt 'machine.'

The innocent Pinkney was rushed to prison from court in a limo-SUV. Here's a report from prison:

"On Dec. 15 judge Schrock dropped the gavel and I was rushed to Jackson prison in less than 2 hours, the first time in the history of corrupt Berrien County court that a person arrived in prison in a limo-SUV.

A person wouldn't believe the ghost stories I'm hearing from Berrien county.  Benton Harbor/Berrien county has the second largest number of prisoners outside of Detroit/Wayne county.

Sheriff Paul 'Bull Connors' Bailey rushed me to a real rat hole, lead paint peeling, concrete floors, no hot water, garbage food, toilets don't flush, summer clothing in winter, steel bed with very thin mattress infested with bed bugs, guards trained to intimidate. Lock down 24/7. A real concentration camp.

The system must be overturned. The attack on democracy in Benton Harbor shows that the corporate power structure is determined to crush anyone who stands in it's way.  It is part of a process underway across the US in various forms."
