the 8 or so people who will actually show up for this "rally" chose a very bad date -- this will be spun as a protest against the Boys & Girls Club charity club event. Another dumb move by the "Reverend" Ed.

Your quotation marks are very small examples of how the corporate crowd and their supporters and lackeys do indeed spin things in Whirlpool Land.
In fact, the Kings and Queens of Spin
in Michigan (or maybe the Midwest and beyond) reside in Whirlpool headquarters and the surrounds.

Yep, a million dollars to build a new Boys & Girls Club in downtown Benton Harbor. That is certainly worth protesting. The Reverend has never been one to let fact get in the way of a chance to advance his own personal agenda and get some free publicity.

We know you need to continue demonizing Pinkney "in perpetuity," just like Jean Klock Park was deeded to Benton Harbor residents "in perpetuity." And most people also know that Whirlpool does absolutely NOTHING except that which enriches them, or will somehow benefit them.

Whirlpool building the Boys & Girls Club is akin to Butzbaugh heading the state bar Ethics Commitee, or like WP CEO Noel getting Jimmy Carter and Habitat for Humanity involved in BH.

The custom of greedy humans (and corporations) masquerading as generous is age-old. We all know what Whirlpool would do for Benton Harbor residents if they actually gave a damn.
